Marine Kills Terrorist!

In Fallujah, a week or so ago, a Marine killed an Islamic terrorist on camera and you'd think it was the end of the civilized world. Maybe you noticed that it was a terrorist and not an insurgent or a rebel. I don't think it's absolutely necessary to have a judge and jury determine every terrorist from every insurgent from every rebel. They're all Islamic terrorists. Get used to it. The guy that got popped in the mosque would have just loved to put a bullet through you and your children. That's an Islamic terrorist. The only reason he didn't try to put a bullet through you and your children was that he was being kept very busy in Fallujah. He wasn't wearing a uniform. He wasn't representing a government. He was an Islamic terrorist. He was in no way fighting by the rules of the Geneva Convention (what was he doing in a mosque?) He was indiscriminately killing soldiers and civilians. He was just another Islamic terrorist. Stupidly, this time he chose to go up against the U.S. Marines, instead of say, a female aid worker (and Muslim) who had been helping the Iraqi people for 30 years. The Marines are just a little tougher. This Islamic terrorist is now dead, exactly as he deserves to be.

Kevin Sites. Know the name? He's the embedded "journalist" (photographer) that shot the footage in question. Here's an example of his work, and here's another. He seems to be enamored with blindfolds, doesn't he? Did you notice the site these examples came from? imagesagainstwar.com. That's images against war. Just what is an anti-war photographer doing in Fallujah with Marines going into a hostile "mosque"? There's only one good answer. He's looking for something to make the Marines, and therefore the U.S. look bad in the eyes of the world. He's on contract with NBC for this assignment. How handy. He finds himself with a bunch of Marines, and wouldn't you know it, one of them ends up shooting an Islamic terrorist in an up close situation, he sends the footage to the leftists at NBC, and what do you know. We have a brewing scandal.

But there is no scandal, except for what Kevin Sites did. This was not his first trip through that mosque. The previous day Sites accompanied another group of Marines through that very same mosque. Let's hope it doesn't end up hurting a Marine who was doing his job in an admirable fashion.
