Makes two or three good sized lunches
Ingredients:
½ small Onion, diced into ½" cubes
2 slices Bacon, diced into ½" pieces
½ lb Ground Beef
1 can (16 oz.) Baked Beans
¼ cup BBQ Sauce (I use Jack Daniels
® Hickory Brown Sugar)
For the Biscuits:
1 cup Bisquick
®
1/3 cup Milk
1½ tsp Butter (softened)
¼ cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Heat diced onions and bacon in oil until onion is nearly translucent. Add the beef and brown thouroughly, drain off excess fat. Add the baked beans and BBQ Sauce. Heat to a slow boil, stirring as needed. Pour into foil loaf pan.
Mix Bisquick
®, butter and milk until it's dough. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto mix in foil pan. Place uncovered foil pan on closed grill (or in oven) for about 20 minutes at 400°. Add the cheese on top of the biscuits, if you want, and cook about 3 more minutes.
The final result, cooked on the grill, is above. The sampled remains are below. Really good stuff.

30-Sep-2011 -- Tried it with 2 slices of bacon chopped small, cooked with the onions.
Change reflected in recipe above. A good addition.
