Soon after we got to turns 10a and 10b, the rain started
with a vengence. Very exciting racing while it lasted though. We saw maybe
twenty laps from this vantage point. Would have taken more
pictures if I knew this was going to be the end.
Deep standing water was reported at the entrance to 5 (See here, before
the race started. Water coursing across the track, but the race started. Later it was much
worse, I guess), and I think it was probably the right thing to do, even
though at the time I was severely let down.
