The ALMS at Road Atlanta
The word that defines the race at Road Atlanta is RAIN.
Qualifying was on a hot, sunny Friday afternoon. The race started under light rain and a very wet track, that was
absolutely nothing like qualifying. The difference was soon apparent with the #2 Audi of McNish running to the front of
the two top qualifying Peugeots. Not only to the front, he ran away and hid. Who knows what might
have happened if the race was able to be continued. It was not to be. The Ten Hour
race was only about 4 hours. Still a spectacle to behold though.

Mickey Mantle said "If I knew I was going to live this long, I'd have take better care of myself."
I say, "If I knew this race was going to be so short, I'd have taken more pictures."
